A message from our members . . . .
The North Central Indiana Ghostbusters wish to thank everyone for their support over the past two years. Unfortunately we must announce that our group is coming to an end for the time being. It was not an easy decision to come to, but with the members of our group becoming busier with our day to day lives, schooling, etc. we just do not have the ability to do justice to our cause at this time. There may come a day in the future when we can come back together and pick up our charity efforts again, but until then we must bid everyone farewell. Over the course of our endeavor, we met countless people who helped us, encouraged us, and supported us in so many ways. We were impacted as much if not more than we were able to impact others. We never expected the generosity of the various individuals, businesses, and companies that donated items to our cause. Their support pushed us to work harder and do as much as we could to help our community. Who would have thought that a small group of long time friends could have made an impact the way we did. While we never did anything huge, we learned and showed others that small acts of good really can go a long way. We were able to raise a few hundred dollars for Riley Children's Hospital, help a local family in need, and hopefully brighten the spirits of those who saw us cruising around town. We hope that our small effort may have somehow planted the seed in the minds of even just a few of the people who saw us. That they might be inspired to take action themselves to try to better their communities in some way. Every little act of good will adds up, and if enough people take an interest in their community and the people who live there great things can happen. We would like to close by again thanking the many people who have supported us over the last couple years. We couldn't have done it without you. It was a great run while it lasted, and we do hold the hope that we can return someday. Hopefully this is not the last you will hear from the North Central Indiana Ghostbusters.
